This piece was inspired by my beautiful phalaenopsis orchid when it bloomed for approximately three months and became a focal point in my studio. Here it sits on a stack of predominantly penguin books that I found at a local thrift shop as well as the Clarissa Pinkola Estes book, one of my favourites.

This piece is created using both watercolours and watercolour pencils, and has been painted on Archers 300gsm hot press paper.
